Mark joined Hawkes Architecture in 2022. Graduating from the University of Kent as President of the Architecture society & with his award-winning theses investigating the sustainability of the food industry and the cultural changes in countryside populations. He is therefore very excited to contribute his knowledge to our Paragraph 80 expertise.
Mark also has a keen interest in user needs; working with our clients to understand how they want to live and use their homes: Drawing on his eight years of experience in the digital industry before returning to complete his Masters.
Outside of work, Mark is a keen traveller – having spent 3 months living in the Borneo rainforest on a design & build project for culturally threatened indigenous populations. Whilst at home he loves nothing more than a home DIY project, landscaping his garden and taking his dog on long walks through the countryside.
