Andrew recently joined Hawkes in 2022 having worked in London for 21 years for the well-known practices; The Manser Practice, Ahrends Burton and Koralek Architects, Nicholas Hare Architects, RHWL Architects, and Patel Taylor.
Andrew is very experienced, having led a wide variety of projects including a boutique hotel, a centre for the performing arts with a 600 seat lyric theatre, civic offices, a contemporary mosque in Qatar integral to an Islamic studies educational facility, and a large scale residential masterplan in London that delivers 2000+ homes.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys being outdoors; he is a keen trail runner, loves walking and exploring the countryside, and has a keen interest in horticulture; together with his partner they have landscaped their cottage garden and have now embarked upon a more ambitious project to convert an unloved 270 sq m self-grow plot into a picturesque garden allotment.
