Set within a working equestrian site overlooking orchards, treelines, and glimpses of the estuary, Burr Yard presents an exciting opportunity to create a home that reflects both lifestyle and landscape. The proposal seeks to sensitively integrate living and working spaces, allowing the clients to manage equestrian facilities on-site while enjoying expansive views and connection to nature. With a focus on reusing existing structures and drawing inspiration from the area’s brickmaking heritage, the design aims to ground the new home in its context—celebrating the local vernacular through materiality and form.
