Thanks Tesla!

Thank you Tesla for the very useful app! Since installation its been great to monitor the energy that Crossway’s new Tesla Powerwall 2 stores. However, whilst browsing the app it made us spot something not quite right with one of the PV systems.


Note that on a perfectly sunny and clear June day, we generated 35.4kWh of solar electricity but that seemed light for the combined 8kW peak. Further investigation by the wonderful team The Little Green Energy Company, revealed that one of the inverters on our original PV-T array wasn’t working.

They then restrung the arrays onto a new Solis inverter and Voila! On a not so sunny day just a week later the Passivhaus clocked up a whopping 44.8kWh.

That’s more than 25% extra solar juice! And it was partly cloudy!
