Jess Grundon

Jess joined Hawkes Architecture in 2023 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant and returned to the practice after graduating from Loughborough University. She is passionate about designing environmentally conscious homes tailored to the needs of each individual client, creating bespoke design solutions that are both practical and beautiful.

With a keen interest in residential architecture, Jess enjoys exploring how thoughtful design can positively shape the way people live, creating carefully considered spaces that balance functionality, sustainability and character.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time in nature and practicing photography, and is inspired by good design wherever she finds it. Her interests extend beyond architecture into interiors, furniture and product design, with a particular appreciation for the small details that often have the greatest impact. Whether it’s a thoughtfully designed piece of furniture or a beautiful picture frame, she enjoys exploring how design can enhance everyday experiences.
