Reimagining a Farmhouse: A Modern Extension Rooted in Heritage
Paddock Wood Farmhouse began life as part of a traditional farmstead, where its orientation and access reflected its working history. Over time, due to restoration from bomb damage, the home’s “front” became the rear, leaving entrances that lacked clarity, scale, and welcome. Our design re-establishes a true sense of arrival, creating a thoughtful extension that enhances everyday functionality while celebrating the farmhouse’s historic charm.
